Strategy of LAM
![]() |
The Latin America Mission represents a group of men and women committed to evangelism and holistic outreach, reaching the Latin world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. All LAM Missionaries promote evangelism. All LAM Missionaries work in collaboration with the Latin church. Beyond these two foundations for Christian mission, the LAM is known principally for creative innovation in international ministry.
The LAM approach to evangelism is:
- Inclusive - ministering with all sectors of evangelical Christianity.
- Biblical - founded on a common statement of faith.
- Holistic - focused on ministry to the whole person in his/her whole life.
- Empowering - equipping the church and ministry partners and training leaders.
- Innovative - taking risks to respond to God's call to ministry in others' lives.
- Partnership oriented - based on a shared vision and commitment to others in ministry.
- Committed to excellence - applying administrative integrity and missiological principles.
The LAM has a rich history as a mission. It has encouraged creative approaches in addressing the challenge of reaching the Latin world for Christ. Historically, the programs of the LAM have been at the forefront in responding to the needs of the church for evangelization and outreach. Innovation in mission is the key strength of the LAM.
