Originally incorporated in New Jersey, Latin America Mission strategically moved its U.S. headquarters to Miami, Florida, in 1977. This metropolitan and multicultural city is the "Gateway to the Americas," home to hundreds of multinational companies and trade organizations. LAM's office location is a convenient stopping point for missionaries and Latin leaders traveling to and from the United States and between Latin American countries.

LAM's home office supports missionaries and ministries throughout Latin America. The office is staffed by a multicultural team of dedicated professionals fulfilling essential support tasks to ensure the LAM community is equipped to do its work. Among other roles, the office assists ministries and missionaries with fundraising, information technology, communications and administration logistics. In order to be the best stewards of limited resources, many LAM staff are support-based missionaries. The Miami office is also a base for outreach to local pastors in the Miami area from multiple ethnic and denominational backgrounds, connecting them with one another and offering prayer and pastoral counseling.
