Families are building blocks of society. When families crumble because of poverty, sin, or sickness, societies crumble with them. The result is the heartbreak of a child’s preventable death, the desperation of a woman driven trapped in the sex trade, the loneliness of a youth on the street.
From its earliest years, Latin America Mission has believed God’s call is to address the causes and consequences of family crises. Our missionaries and Ministry Partners are involved throughout Latin America in caring for at-risk children, providing medical care to the neglected, and offering hope and capacity-building to women escaping prostitution.
