What We Do

Short-Term Missions

Options for short-term missions with LAM are unique. We offer more than a simple "tourist mission." You'll be involved in real, front-lines ministry, working alongside Latin leadership, living with a local family, studying the language and culture, sharing your faith, serving as part of a team and ministering with a local church.

Short-term missions can provide a meaningful way of evaluating God's direction for your future service, as well as providing a vehicle for significant personal investment into the Lord's work.

For 30 years, LAM's well-known Spearhead program has offered opportunities to partner with local churches in front-lines ministry while receiving training and mentoring from experienced leaders. Spearhead offers a dynamic program in Mexico City.

Work with street kids. Teach mountain biking at a christian camp. Help start a worship team for a new church plant. Use basketball as a means for establishing relationships in an urban setting. Help provide health care to a refugee community. The LAM offers packaged 2 month summer programs, as well as customized opportunities for service up to one year. (If you're looking for something longer, check out our Long-Term area.)

Please read through some of the following links and feel free to contact us about where you may be able to plug into LAM's programs.
