Hospital Clínica Bíblica

Hospital Clínica Bíblica is a non-profit organization that provides hospital medical services and gives a large portion of its proceeds to the Comprehensive Health Program, with which it provides health care and preventive medicine to the neediest sectors of Costa Rican society. Hospital Clínica Bíblica partners with local government and the community to reach as much of greater San José as possible.
Hospital Clínica Bíblica was founded in 1929 by Latin America Mission, under the leadership of missionaries Henry and Susan Strachan. The hospital is certified by Joint Commission International, making Costa Rica the first country in in Central America and only the fifth in Latin America to receive their certification.
