ProMETA is a global ministry that offers online theological education in Spanish. Spanish-speaking leaders can earn a Masters in Biblical Theology or Contexualized Leadership. ProMETA also offers postgraduate certificates and short courses.
Headquartered in San José, Costa Rica, ProMETA's staff live on three continents — North and South America and Europe. It is an interdenominational ministry built on the collaboration of people from various organizations.
ProMETA has been offering online courses since 2001 and is considered one of the first organizations in Latin America to offer online maters degrees. Its students span 24 countries, many of whom would not have access to theological training without online courses.
