Roblealto Child Care Association

The Roblealto Child Care Association is a Christian, public welfare, non-profit organization, founded in 1932. From the beginning, its mission has been to care for the children of Costa Rica who are in critical situations, at social risk, and who need specialized care.
Over the years, thousands of children have received overall care in the areas of health, nutrition, education, spiritual support and psychological treatment. But especially, this population has received the love and understanding of a staff who shares Christian values with them, which will help them to function successfully in society.
The association permanently cares for approximately 700 children who come from around 340 families. Although emphasis is placed on the work with children, follow-up is given to adolescents through a group made up of those who are no longer at the care centers, and a vision of overall support for the family is maintained.
