Neil and Kelsey Cantrall

Arequipa, Peru

After nearly two years serving in Peru with Food for the Hungry, God has called Neil and Kelsey back to live and serve once again in Peru, the country that saw the birth of their oldest son.  They will serve in the city of Arequipa.

Neil will first be working to establish relationships with local schools, both private and public. In doing this he seeks to establish relationships in the educational community as a volunteer, offering classes in English and establishing an after-school tutoring program for high-risk children. He will help train and equip teachers to provide top-quality classroom management, English support, and most of all, help them realize their need for a Savior. He will also help pioneer a soccer club in the surrounding communities, with support from local churches and schools, to establish relationships with local youth and their families in hopes of leading them towards a lasting relationship with Jesus Christ.

Kelsey will be home with their two boys, Elliott (3 ½) and Ezra (15 mos.), until they are of school age.  She will focus on ministry to young mothers in the surrounding communities, educating them in the areas of health, nutrition, and Christ’s gift of salvation.
