Carrie Smith

Carrie is thrilled to serve Jesus in Costa Rica in the Roblealto Child Care Association. Carrie works in the Roblealto's International Development Department in the areas of sponsorship, projects and volunteers. Some of her regular tasks include writing entrance and progress reports in English, translating and interpreting, developing and executing various strategies to raise funds and writing letters and thank you notes. She feels privileged to be a part of such an amazing ministry and is a joyful witness of God's transforming love not only in the lives of the children and families of Roblealto, but also in her own.
Carrie graduated from Grove City College in 2008 with a major in Spanish and a huge passion for Latin America. She started serving in Costa Rica with the LAM in March, 2009. She loves reading and memorizing Bible passages, running, riding her bicycle and spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite foods are chocolate, carrots and skim milk.
