Daniel and Shelly Young

La Paz, Mexico

Daniel and Shelly have served with the Latin America Mission for 22 years. For the last 7 years Daniel has been working with COMIMEX in Mexico. Daniel's assignment is to speak to children, youth, and adults in local churches presenting the gospel and challenging children to consider a long-term involvement in missions through their support as well encouraging the children to consider preparing themselves to become missionaries. Daniel and Shelly moved to La Paz, Mexico in 2009 working with the same ministry focus.  Daniel and Shelly also reach out to needy kids and families through helping at a local orphanage, giving marriage conferences, and doing informal counseling.

The Youngs are home schooling their two younger children: Rebecca (13), and Michael (11). The older three, Benjamin (21), Stephen (21), and Ana Christina (19) are at Simpson University.

Daniel and Shelly are very grateful for the financial and prayer support of many people through the years.
