Grace Morillo serves in Bogotá, Colombia with UCU (Unidad Cristiana Universitaria-University Christian Fellowship).
Grace is the General Secretary, coordinating national student-led missionary efforts on University campuses in 13 cities of Colombia (Riohacha, Barranquilla, Cartagena, Monteria, Medellin, Armenia, Pereira, Ibague, Popayan, Bogota, Cali, Tunja and Manizales). UCU´s goal is to equip and encourage students to carry out Evangelism, Discipleship and Service among their peers and later on as professionals in every sphere of society.
The main focus is on student-led Bible Studies in the Universities. These studies are complemented by retreats, workshops, evangelistic outreach and other such activities. During 2009, UCU celebrated it's 40th anniversary. UCU was founded in 1968 by Jack and Mary Anne Voelkel, also LAM missionaries.
The UCU motto for 2010 is: “Let us walk with Jesus in building life, giving, and truth-revealing relationships.” The Bible focus for this year are the epistles of 1st and 2nd Timothy.
Grace asks that you pray for the raising up of committed laborers, at least one local staff worker for each of the 13 cities (at present there are only 4), and for passion and clarity to be radical Christians in a society torn by injustice and war.
