Heather Braden
La Ceiba, Honduras
Heather received her call to missions when she was 13 years old. Over the years Heather has seen the Lord's faithfulness as He as guided and directed her. She is ecstatic to do long-term service in Latin America. After graduating from high school Heather followed the Lord’s direction in attending Tennessee Temple University for three years. While at Tennessee Temple she studied Elementary Education and Missions. The Lord led her to continue her education at Moody Bible Institute (MBI), where she received her Bachelors of Elementary Education in May 2009.
Heather is now working at the Centro de Nutricion Infantil (Children's Nutrition Center), a ministry of the IGCLA (Iglesia la Gran Comision Latino America) in La Ceiba, Honduras that provides food, medical care, school support, and spiritual direction to the poorest children of the community. She is excited about being able to use her educational background to help children as she gets to know them, teaches and supports them emotionally and spiritually.
