Kevin and Leah Book-Satterlee

Mexico City, Mexico

Kevin, Leah and daughter Eliana, are serving in Mexico City with LAM’s short-term missions program, Spearhead.

Kevin and Leah’s ultimate goal is to take the Spearhead program and transplant it into a new country. In preparation for this goal they will continue to work with and train under Spearhead director, Paul Johnson, while also preparing the program for multiplication in the future. They spent a year from 2007-2008 in Mexico City with Spearhead where they worked with children-at-risk, taught English and served in their local church. They returned to Mexico City to help facilitate the following summer’s Spearhead summer group.

Leah has a B.A. in History from Westmont University and an M.A. in Cross-Cultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary. Kevin has a B.A. in Business Administration from Azusa Pacific University and his M.A. of Ministerial Leadership from George Fox Seminary.

Both Kevin and Leah experienced profound changes in their lives through their experiences on short-term missions and want to help young people decipher God’s calling on their lives while encouraging cross-cultural communication and understanding to build up the Church locally and internationally.
