Kevin Johnson
Mexico City, Mexico
Kevin studied philosophy at Wheaton College and then pursued a calling toward ministry by studying at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, where he completed his Master of Divinity in 2010. He is especially passionate about helping people understand the Bible and theology better to grow deeper in their faith, and he has served in ministries involving worship leading, English tutoring, evangelistic outreach, and teaching Greek and religious studies. He is excited to see how God will bring together these interests with opportunities for learning and serving through Spearhead.
His interest in Latin America began in the summer of 2009 while visiting southern Peru for ten weeks, where his parents were serving as missionaries. He returned to Peru in the fall of 2010 to take additional Spanish classes and has felt God increasingly calling him toward ministry in the Latin world. He looks forward to the opportunity to learn more about Latin American culture, improve his Spanish, and grow in practical ministry skills and sense of calling while serving in Mexico.
