Lillian Solt

Lillian is a nurse/midwife and has been working with the ministry of CEDCAS, which promotes “whole person health care,” caring for the physical, spiritual, emotional and economic aspects of those CEDCAS serves. She has a daughter, Rebeca, who is 24 and is working as a nurse in the ER of the largest government hospital.
Lillian says, “I have been helping CEDCAS develop four programs, working with several (1) rural and urban communities, especially in shanty towns like Guararí and Los Guido and promoting micro enterprises such as the coffee project run by 30 peasant woman in Biolley. We coordinate with (2) work teams to help with the infrastructure of churches, basketball courts and multipurpose buildings. (3) We have a medical and dental clinic offering affordable prices and (4) we promote health education and preventive programs thorough our the House of Health.” All of these programs promote creative evangelism as we share the Gospel to a world in need.”
She continues, ”Praise the Lord for our wonderful staff who care for our patients and work teams. Praise the Lord that the clinic is able to generate 2/3 of the ongoing daily expenses. Pray for the needed funds to subsidize the other 1/3 for the clinic. Our patients pay on a sliding scale according to their ability to pay. Pray for wisdom and protection on the road as we travel to the different projects. Pray for Rebeca as she begins a second career in Nutrition to help in the health education with the CEDCAS ministry.
