Lisa Anderson-Umaña

Tegucigalpa, Honduras

Lisa Anderson Umana serves as a part of a team effort to equip Latin church leaders to program camps that transform the lives of campers in Christ. She lives in Tegucigalpa, Honduras with her husband Alfredo and two children: Valerie (8) and Víctor (6).

Lisa says, "CCI serves over a dozen countries in Latin America, encouraging and mobilizing the local church and parachurch ministries to use the tool of camping to impact lives for Christ. My role is to train instructors who in turn will teach local church leaders how to serve as camp counselors or program directors. Our goal is to equip and mobilize the Latin Church to use camping to accomplish the Great Commission."

She shares, "Praise God for the successful publication of a twenty-volume Games Encyclopedia which provides ministry leaders with over 1000 cooperative games, group dynamics, creative training techniques and novel recreational activities to chose from to impact the lives of the children, young people and adults they work with."
