Lori Miranda
Medellín, Colombia
Having received her call to missions as a child nearly 20 years ago, Lori Miranda is excited to be preparing for long-term service at the Seminario Bíblico (Bible Seminary) in Medellín, Colombia.
Lori hopes that through teaching at the Seminary she will be able to strengthen the growing Latin American mission force. Her role will be to stimulate the missions vision of students and prepare them for cross-cultural mission work in Colombia and around the world.
Lori has participated in short-term trips to Ireland, Mexico, Thailand, and Malaysia, and served as part of a church-planting team for a year and a half in Málaga, Spain. In preparing for mission work, she has studied Writing, Missions, Bible, and Spanish at Houghton College (NY), where she received her Bachelor's Degree in 2002, and Missions and Intercultural Studies at Wheaton College (IL), where she received her Master's Degree in 2008. While building her support network, Lori is ministering with her home church, through teaching high school English classes.
