Michelle Stockman
Belmopan, Belize
At 8 years old, God has prepped Michelle’s heart for missions and it has been developing ever since.
Michelle has been a missionary in Belize for 13 years and currently directs Jehovah Rapha Girls Home (which means “the God Who Heals”) in the Belmopan area. It has been open since April 2009 and reaches out to girls who have been abused, abandoned, orphaned or neglected. Currently there are three girls who are residing in the home.
Prior to the beginnings of Jehovah Rapha Girls Home, she operated clinics and served as a nurse meeting the physical needs of those she came in contact with.
Michelle continues to be heavily involved with her church (Step of Faith) as a leader and she also works as Sunday School Superintendent.
Michelle obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at York College of Pennsylvania in 1995. At Moody Bible Institute she completed 30 credits of Bible (1999), plus went to Instituto De Lengua Espanola in San Jose, Costa Rica to learn Spanish (2003-2004). She now has her Master’s in Christian Counseling from Pillsbury College and Seminary.
Please join Michelle in being a part of what God’s doing in Belize by PRAY-ING, COM-ING, and GIV-ING.
