Andy and Erika Olsen

Miami, United States of America

Andy and Erika are originally from Lexington, Kentucky and have been serving together cross-culturally since before they were married. A journalist and photographer, Andy worked for years in the newspaper and magazine industry before serving as the media director for a Christian relief agency in Haiti, working with a team to document their work during recent hurricanes and the Port-au-Prince earthquake of 2010. Andy studied Spanish and journalism at Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky.

Originally from Maine, Erika spent years as an outreach worker, connecting U.S. migrant communities with health and educational services. She has also taught high-school Spanish, coordinated short-term missions teams in Mexico and, most recently, served as staff development coordinator for a Christian relief agency in Haiti. Erika studied Spanish and Latin at Asbury University, where she and Andy first met.

Andy and Erika are both serving in LAM's Miami Service Office. Andy is working as Director of Communications, and Erika is serving as Mobilization Coordinator. Please pray for them as they are serving the Lord through their ministry.
