Rebekah Meyerend
Valle de Chalco, Mexico
Rebekah Meyerend has been serving with Milamex and the Latin America Mission since 1994. She has worked with families and children in Valle de Chalco, Mexico, a working class, economically needy community outside of Mexico City. Partnering together with local Mexican Christians, she establsihed a library and tutoring center in a needy neighborhood of Chalco Valley. The goal has been to reach families with the love of Christ by meeting the educational needs of their children.
In 2012 she will be moving into Mexico City to partner with Milamex and the Evangelism In Depth Program. The goal is to equip, train, and mobilize local Mexican churches in the task of reaching children for Christ. She plans to help Mexican christians, through their local church, establish their own children's programs and share the vision for bringing young people and children to Christ.
