Craig and Shelley Rice

San José, Costa Rica

Craig and Shelley Rice serve in San José, Costa Rica. Craig works in training leadership and mentoring missionaries at the Evangelism In-Depth Institute, and Shelley ministers to women at risk at the Rahab Foundation. Craig serves among unreached people groups in Costa Rica and Latin America, and with the Christian Surfers Costa Rica national movement and Christian Surfers International. At the Rahab Foundation, Shelley ministers to families who have been involved with prostitution and human trafficking for sexual exploitation, enabling them to be restored and to re-enter society with productive skills and a faith in Jesus Christ.

Pray for unity on the Evangelism in Depth and Rahab ministry teams; that the Rices can grow in their relationships with surfers in Costa Rica and other unreached peoples; that the Rahab Foundation can reach women, trafficking victims, and their families; and that the Rices’ financial support needs will be supplied bountifully.

The Rice's have three children, Peter, who is married to Betsy, Kristen, who is married to Chris Johnson, and Karen, who will graduate from Wheaton College in Illinois in 2012.  The Rices have two grandchildren, Sam and Marina Rice.
