Timothy Halls
Concord, United States of America
Tim Halls lived in Latin America for 21 years. He continues to work alongside Latin Americans as they organize and develop their own missionary outreach around the world.
Tim works directly for Latin America Mission, advising the President on matters of strategy. He says, "My work takes me beyond strategy for just the LAM. I find myself taking on strategic missional issues for initiatives and ministries that emerge from the Latin American context." He serves on the Board of COMHINA (Cooperación Misionera de los Hispanos de Norteamérica), and on the Missions Commission of the World Evangelical Alliance.
His areas of developing interest include how migration from Latin America to the US affects the future of missionary outreach from both the US and Latin America.
His wife, Lois, is Head Counselor at Miramonte High School in Orinda, CA.
Tim and Lois live in Concord. They have three grown daughters: Angela, married to Shaun Tamblin, parents of their grandson, Parker, in San Jose, CA; Marian, dissertator at Univ of Wisconsin in Comparative Literature; and Emily, married to Erlo Jones, living in Auckland, New Zealand.
