Wendy Der
Mexico City, Mexico
Wendy Der is serving as the Program Coordinator of the Spearhead and Ignite Programs in Mexico City. She formerly served with Spearhead from 1998-2002 as a YearOut participant, team leader and Assistant Director before heading to Boston for her graduate studies.
She worked as a missions mobilizer for 2 years and an evening residential assistant for young, single moms. She has a BS in Communications from Northwestern University and an MA in missions from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
Wendy is also involved in the mobilization of Latinos for global missions in Mexico through various projects like the recording of a missions music cd, the formation of a Mexican mentoring group, and her ongoing participation in the Lausanne Movement for World Evangelization.
