For U.S. Churches

With over 90 years of missions experience and a history of innovation, Latin America Mission is here to serve churches that are doing — or desire to do — missions in a responsible, well-informed way. We can help your church in three key areas:

Missionary Discipleship

In order to “go and make disciples of all nations,” missionaries must first be disciples themselves. That starts at home. Through our large and experienced network of ministries, LAM helps churches across the United States learn how to holistically prepare, send out, and care for their own missionaries. Get started with these resources.

Missions Focus

LAM’s network of Alliance Ministries enables us to help U.S. churches better understand and work strategically in their missions focus area — whether it’s a region such as Honduras or South America’s Southern Cone, or a type of ministry like rescuing children at risk, educating majority world pastors, or mobilizing Latinos to the Muslim world. View some of LAM's service opportunities.

Missions Experience

Impactful and well planned short-term experiences can be an excellent way for churches to broader their understanding of their own faith, consider God through the eyes of another culture, and develop the next generation of leaders. But short-term experiences can actually cause harm if they do not fit well into the vision of both the sending church and the receiving ministry. With its decades of experience in short-term missions, LAM offers short-term opportunities that are planned responsibly and with the best interest of both the participants and the hosts.
