Partnership in the United States

At Latin America Mission, we believe in pursuing missions together by removing barriers between “senders” and “receivers.”

Our passion is building mutually transformational alliances — relationships that empower all parties equally to change their worlds for Christ, no matter the nationality or socioeconomic level.

Our U.S. ministry partners include churches, individuals and nonprofits. LAM assists and equips them to join with Latins in carrying the gospel throughout Latin America and around the globe.

LAM does this by:

Mobilizing and Connecting Missionaries

Missionaries need to be sent out from a church knowing they have a team behind them, not sent away from a church wondering what comes next. To do this, sending churches must understand and own their unique missions calling and vision. LAM helps missions-minded churches and ministries plan, prepare, send and care for their missionaries on the field. We aim to create practical ways for churches to connect with missionaries and partner ministries and to maintain ever-stronger relationships with them.

Ensuring Financial Integrity

Latin America Mission is a charter member of the ECFA, the leading accreditation agency for faith-based nonprofits. Similarly, all of our partner ministries overseas maintain regularly updated accreditation with LAM. That means we can answer for every dollar donated and transferred across borders to our ministries. LAM partners and donors can know with certainty that when they give to an LAM project, a pastor or a worker, the funds are going where they are supposed to.

Networking

Partnership is the core of our DNA. The LAM community is a diverse collection of people and charities with diverse God-given gifts and abilities. We believe we can accomplish more for the Kingdom working together than we could on our own, so LAM strives to connect like-minded ministries in the United States and Latin America to accomplish shared goals and projects. This is our response to God’s mandate to serve humbly in unity. (Ephesians 4:1-16)

Reaching U.S. Latinos

The U.S. Latino population is increasing dramatically and opening up new missions fields on Americans’ doorsteps. Missionaries equipped for crossing cultural boundaries without crossing national boundaries are uniquely skilled and valuable. LAM has a developing focus of sending missionaries into the United States to transform lives domestically with Christ’s love and to mobilize U.S. Latinos for foreign missions.
