Spearhead Dates and Costs
Spearhead has three programs of differing lengths: Ignite, Summer and YearOut. Although the structure and activities of each program vary, all three programs will immerse you in the language and culture. You will live with a host family, support and participate in a local church, and serve under national leadership. Language training is also an essential component of the Summer and YearOut programs.
Ignite
(9 days)
Experience daily life and ministry in a Latin context. Ignite a passion in your heart for God’s global mission as you step outside your comfort zone.

Summer
(8 weeks)
Live among local people for a summer and be amazed by how God works in and through you. Learn from intensive Spanish courses, team trainings, excursions and one-on-one coaching that will equip and empower you to share your faith and minister for Christ in a cross-cultural context. Discover your place in God’s global mission.

YearOut
(12 – 15 months; renewable for a second year)
Practice incarnational ministry in a cross-cultural context through this missions internship. Be equipped for ministry through Intensive Spanish training, Cross-Cultural Studies, and Spiritual Character Formation. Join with the local body of believers as together you reach the community and engage in evangelism and discipleship. Grow through hands-on ministry experience and develop your leadership skills. Discover your unique role in building God’s global Kingdom.
